Hi everyone! My name is Dr. Rina Patel-Jerls. I attended the University of Central Florida (2016) and then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida campus (2020). I received my Webster certification and Perinatal Certification (which is 80 hours of training) in 2022 from the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).  I am currently working towards my CACCP certification as well.
I  became a chiropractor because when I was 21 I was in a car accident. I went through countless rounds of PT and even sought help from an orthopedic doctor. But I was given pain meds and sent on my way. One day I decided why not try chiropractic and I never looked back.
I've always had a passion for prenatal/pediatric care so I knew that's what I wanted to focus on in practice. Advocating for moms and children has always been my goal through healthcare. I currently sit on the board of the national non-profit PATTCh, Prevention and treatment of traumatic childbirth. I also sit on the local non-profit, It Takes a Village, as the secretary. I love being able to help moms and families alike no matter what stage of care they are in.
I also have a background in sports chiropractic care. I was the official chiropractor for Chaminade University's athletic department in Honolulu, Hawai'i 2022-2023.
In 2020 after graduation, I moved to Honolulu, Hawai'i with my husband, Ian (Hometown-Scott City, MO), where I practiced for 3 years at Kingdom Chiropractic. Now, we have finally moved back home after Ian separated from the military. We are here to stay and ready to serve our community.
A few fun things about me: I'm a new mom to a baby boy named Westyn. You might see him around the office! I love Disney and being outdoors- baseball games (cardinals and catfish)/chief's games.
Welcome to the AC Family.
